Hamilton Wood Type & Printing Museum

Advertising cuts and wood type samples are on display at the Hamilton Wood Type & Printing Museum in Two Rivers.

According to Moran, "This is the only museum in the world dedicated to the preservation, study, production and printing of wood type. With 1.5 million pieces of wood type in a thousand styles and sizes, this is one of the premier collections in the world. In addition, the museum displays an amazing array of advertising cuts from the 1930s to the 1970s, plus the equipment used to produce the type and print with it."

Everyone with an interest in the arts is invited to the Wood Type presentation at the Gibraltar Fire Station on County F in Fish Creek at 7 p.m., on Monday, August 27. Admission is free.
